Registration is now open for Penang Math Platform’s Japanese Mathematics Class (JMC) 2027, designed for children aged 6–8. Through interactive activities, visual learning and guided problem-solving, children discover how mathematical ideas connect and learn to explain how they arrive at an answer.

What Makes JMC Different?

“Japanese” refers to the method of learning mathematics, rather than the Japanese school syllabus. All classes are conducted in English.

Inspired by Japanese teaching approaches, JMC encourages children to observe, ask questions, explore different solutions and understand the reasoning behind each step.

Lessons combine:

• Visual and hands-on activities to make mathematical concepts easier to understand.
