JUNIOR CODING COMPETITION (MATATALAB)
Junior Coding Competition (Matatalab) is a competition designed for children aged between 5 – 7 years old mainly to encourage students to learn to use technology in a positive way and promote the use of their creativity and logical thinking skills.
The participants will need to submit a video presentation and pictures of their projects. The judges will then determine the Top 3 winners.Β
Please note that the Top 3 winners will need to attend the Award Ceremony at Penang Math Platform, Gelugor and bring along their projects to present.

Project theme:
1)Β Letβs Travel Together!
–Take Matatalab bot through a journey to your favourite place. It can be a country, state and even outer space!
2)Β Animal Exploration.
– I know you like animals so do Matatalab bot. Shows us your favourite animals in the jungle, sea or a pet shop.

3) The World in 2050.
– Imagine how the world will be in 2050. Show us the building, vehicles, technology and etc of how the world becomes in the future.
Submission need to have:
1)Β Create a video presentation (video must not be less than 10minΒ ) and upload to YouTube. Example: https://youtu.be/5x6uiR8lgdw
2)Β Submit pictures of the project. The pictures will consist of top, front and side view. (Can upload to Google Drive and send us the link. Make sure it is able to be access by anyone)
*Take note that the video link must be able to be view in YouTube
*The video presentation and pictures can be sentΒ through submission form once it opened on 1/7/23
