The Penang Math Platform (PMP) is a specialized STEM center under Penang STEM umbrella organisation, an initiative by the Penang State Government dedicated to cultivating a new generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
As the mathematics-focused arm of Penang STEM, PMP is committed to strengthening foundational and advanced math skills among students, equipping them with the critical thinking, creativity, and analytical abilities needed to thrive in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Math Magic Workshop

Step into a world where numbers come alive! The Math Magic Board Game is an exciting and interactive way to make mathematics fun, engaging, and full of surprises. Players embark on a journey across a colorful board filled with challenges, puzzles, and magical twists that test their problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Classes

Math classes

(Basic to advance Math tutorial for national syllabus, Singapore Math, Mental Arithmetric, and others). Flagship Japanese Math Class for pre-schoolers (6 years) to build entry level foundation for math appreciation and inter-personal communication.

Excel @ School

Excel @ School introduces students to the fundamentals of Microsoft Excel, helping them develop essential digital and analytical skills. Through hands-on lessons, students learn to use formulas, functions, and charts to manage and analyze data effectively — preparing them for real-world applications in studies and future careers.

Graphic Design+ @ School

Graphic Design+ @ School introduces students to the exciting world of visual creativity and digital communication. Through this outreach program, students will learn how to design using modern tools like Canva, develop creative thinking, and improve presentation and communication skills — preparing them for the digital era.

3D Design @ School

3D Design @ School is an engaging educational program that introduces secondary school students to the world of 3D design and printing. Through hands-on lessons, students learn to create, visualize, and produce real 3D products — developing creativity, problem-solving, and digital design skills along the way.

JAPANESE MATHEMATICS CLASS

Known for its focus on deep thinking, clear logic, and step-by-step problem-solving, our Japanese Math class helps students strengthen their foundations and develop sharp reasoning skills. With structured lessons, visual strategies, and engaging challenges, this class is perfect for students who want to master math with confidence and clarity.

MATHBOOST

Join our MathBoost Class, a fun and engaging app-based learning experience designed specially for young learners aged 5 to 8 years old. Using interactive games and activities, MathBoost turns math into an exciting adventure, helping students build strong math skills with confidence and ease.
