What is Discovering GEMS all about?
Discovering GEMS stands for “Great English & Mathematics Stars.” It is an academic competition and workshop designed to recognize and celebrate excellence in the subjects of English and Mathematics. It’s a platform for academic growth, recognition, and inspiration, encouraging individuals to excel in these subjects.
Who can participate in Discovering GEMS?
Anyone aged 7 and older can participate. We welcome students from a wide range of age groups to join us in this celebration of English and Mathematics excellence.
How much is the registration fee?
We collect a single REFUNDABLE fee of RM10 per registration per pax.
How can I register for the event?
To register, please visit our Google Form link: Registration Form. Simply fill out the form with your details, and you’ll be all set to join the event
What is the deadline for registration?
The closing date for registration is January 13, 2024. Be sure to register before this date to secure your spot in the event.
Can I participate in multiple workshops and competitions on the same day?
Absolutely! Your RM10 registration fee grants you unlimited access to all the workshops and competitions happening on the event day. Feel free to participate in as many as you like.
Where can I find information about specific workshop and competition schedules?
We will provide a table with details about the workshops and competitions, including dates, timings, venues, and age group requirements. You can access this information through our promotional materials and on the event day. 
How can I stay updated about event news and announcements?
Will there be prizes or awards for participants?
We appreciate and reward participants for their dedication and achievements. Here are the competition prizes and awards:
- All participants will receive a participation certificate.
- 1st Place: RM150 Cash Prize + Trophy
- 2nd Place: RM90 Cash Prize + Trophy
- 3rd Place: RM60 Cash Prize + Trophy
- 4th to 10th Place: Medals*
